  1. They grow mangos where we live in southern Spain. They grow on trees. The temperature is very temperate in winter. Very rarely falls below 7c at night. Summers are very hot. The ground gets baked dry. Watering is essential. The soil here is very clay like. It´s nothing like a loam.

  2. They need tropical conditions (sunligth, temperatures, humidity), not even here, in México is possible to raise them everywhere. I'm in Jalisco state, but at 2000 meters over sea level, here is too cold and to dry to have those trees, but you can see them at the coas (in Puerto Vallarta area).

  3. The Mango is a tropical tree.  So they must have tropical weather conditions to grow.  You might be be able grow a small tree in a container if you can put it in a greenhouse in the winter. They like a deep fertile soil, but can grow under most soil conditions.

  4. although mangoes are grown in bulk in tropical regions, but those that grow in hot regions like pakistan and india are the best quality in the world

  5. they like tropical areas and good clay soils
