How do you guys feel about Nastia Liuken and Shawn Johnson?

Which one do you guys like better? I personally like Shawn Johnson better, but how do other people feel about them?

Shawn Johnson was obviously better. She had a more sturdy routine. She didn't make any mistakes. Nastia Liuken was really good and really good at landing, but she is a little shaky at times. I like Shawn I think she is nicer than Nastia just the sound of her name sounds like there is something mean about her!

In my opinion, it seems like Shawn Johnson is too full of herself.  I know she has every right to be this way, but she just seems to have a bit too much of the "I'm all that" attitude.  I like Nastia Liuken better and I'm so glad she won the gold.  She deserved it!

i think shawn is the best. although im still glad that an american won the gold. im kinda with amanda because im from NE. i think she should have gotton a higher score on her balance beam routine.

i think they're both crazy, but if i had to choose, i would choose shawn. she won the all around, didn't she? but yeah, they're both crazy.

I think Shawn was the better gymnast.  Nastia got too high a score on the uneven bars for her performance and that's why she won. She also won because she puts on more theatrics than Shawn, and she is more shapely.  

Her theatrics help distract the judges from her errors. this was most apparent on the balance beam, where she was using too many hand gestures, again to distract from errors.

I like Shawn Johnson the best. Nastia Liuken is cool too, but Shawn has something about her that I like and she seems more personable.

I don't know much at all about gymnastics but last night Johnson look more competative. I agree Liuken did better on the balance beam but overall Johnson should have taken the Gold. Also, Shawn Johnson is a very pretty girl.

Well, of course the olympic level judges are not good enough. They should have asked one of the real experts here to judge.

  Seriously, Nastya's gold was 10000% fair.   There is absolutely NO question about it. Just because someone likes Shawn better doesn't mean she deserved the gold. She got her silver which is awsome, she deserved it, she tried her best.

I like both of them the same. They're very very different but both are great.

Shawn Johnson, because she smiles.

Nastia always looks so... mad.

Shawn should have won the all-around gold she got SCREWED on her beam. Deductions for no apparent reason, while the chinese girl got a higher score and almost fell 3 times and didn't even mount the beam cleanly! Shawn's floor was awesome, I thought it deserved higher as well, but oh well.

However Nastia did an amazing floor and uneven bars, she's very graceful. Shawn's bars were good but she's a little short to be graceful on them.

Still, I felt Shawn should have gotten it. It was very close, and if her beam had been judged fairly, she probably would have won gold.

Also Shawn is so STRONG and such a spitfire I just like that in athletes. I was afraid Nastia was gonna hurt herself at times I mean I know she does those routines all the time, but she doesnt look as solid.

well both of them are extremely gorgeous athletes, and well skill wise i think Shawn is better, Nastia is a bit more graceful and elegant, but Shawns performances are more entertaining and powerful, they both rock and made USA go 1-2 so i love them both

I like Nastia better. She is graceful and always looks beautiful on every event. She is what artistic gymnastics is all about. Nobody can say Shawn Johnson is better, because when both hit their routines at the Olympic All Around finals, Nastia won. Nobody can say Shawn was underscored because she was scored fairly on every event and it was pretty obvious she was overscored on vault because the judges were contemplating not giving her credit for the 1/2 twist because she didn't complete it, which would have brought her score down majorly. Nastia had a near perfect vault but her score did not reflect that. Anybody who says she should have gotten a lower score on bars does not understand the new code of points. Nastia got a higher score than others on bars because her difficulty is worth a 7.7 while most other gymnasts are around a 6.5 range. The step on her landing was only worth 3 tenths. So everyone should stop talking without knowing what they're talking about. Everybody loves Shawn because she's known to smile all the time, but who wouldn't when they win every competition? She was highly overscored at every national competition and I think everyone realizes that now. Where was that smile on Shawn's face when she got silver?? Now it was Nastia who had the smiles.

I personally like Shawn a lot better, but they are both great gymnasts and I'm glad that they are representing the United States in Beijing. See, I am from MN, so Shawn is kind of my favorite because of the location of her gym, and my gymnastics coach has known her and Chow for awhile. I'm rooting for Shawn, but Nastia is good too.

I like Shawn Johnson better. She's cuter and shows her feelings more than Nastia. I'm watching the Olympics now and just looked them both up on wikipedia. Nastia's real name is Anastasia, and she's 4 inches taller at 5'3." Her nickname really is awful.

Shawn Johnson deserves the gold.  Natasha is just too wobbly.  Only thing she did near flawless in is the floor routine but she didn't do anything extravagent like her rivals including Shawn Johnson.  But if you ask me the All round Womens got rigged from after rotation 1.   If I remeber correctly right after rotation 1 some lady came down to the judges boxes saying that she didn't agree with the scores. If it was judged honestly it would of been inbetween Russia and Romania for gold and Shawn Johnson and the unsmiling Chinese gymnast for bronze. It was unfortunate accident for smiling Chinese gymnast I would of loved to see her and Shawn as winners of the medals.  They were the most pleasant and friendliest of all the gymnasts that participated. Its obvious Natasha scores were rigged to win 16.650  for the bars when she had a huge step when she landed and she was pretty slow and didn't do that many tricks.  Several other people did more and did near flawless and landing had a step but it wasn't as huge as Natasha and they ended up with a 15. something.  Russia did bars flawlessly but they gave her 15. something.  Thats the most obvious rig there are several more that worked in favor of Natasha.

I like them both nastia def got what she deserves she is a tremendous athlete I like everything about her we all can say she did this wrong or her routine was weak but in all reality its about what the judges score not everyone else she earned a gold and nobody can take it from her.

i like shawn johnson way better cause she doesn't seem stuck up like nastia! and don't say that shawn is snotty, cause she isn't! I think she should have won the all around; not only because she is and will always be a better gymnast than natia, it's also because she deserved it more!

I like both girls respectively.  Shawn's got the power, Nastia's got the grace.

Nastia's beam routine had me in tears, Shawn's floor exercise made my heart swell.  Great competitors, both deserved the medals they got and still have a chance at earning more.

For those saying Shawn was poorly judged, so was Nastia so it makes it even.

i really like both but if i had to chose i would pick Shawn cause she is so nice and shes really pretty. but i do like them both. my top 2 athletes!

I absolutely love Shawn!! I totally think she should have won gold for the individual all around. Nastia is good but there is just something about her that annoys me. Shawn is an amazing gymnast and seems like an amazing person as well. Nastia just looks like a brat =]
