  1. lol bit expensive, give the money to charity

  2. Nice setup, but:

    - What about rear speakers?

    - Why do you have full-range towers, and a sub? Trying to have 3 sources of bass in a room creates a complex interaction that is like a boom-car: impressive, but rough and it sounds like you are compensating for some manly shortcomings.

Find monitor-style speakers (like the L830) and get 4 of them (2 for the front and 2 for the rear).  This will give you a smaller, but better setup.

  3. You need to stick masking tape across your window glass.

For a bedroom, you do not need anything more than 80Watts.

Your dream setup is loud but not necessarily refine.

Why not you go for lower wattage setup which is usually cheaper. Or if you still feel like spending, you can convert the saving into higher quality instruments. Example

NAD and a pair of KEF iQ3 bookself speaker

  4. I prefer MartinLogan or B&W speakers.  However the JBL system is wonderful.  Enjoy.

  5. where do you plan on putting your bed??

  6. You have a very nice system.  It should be able to handle your bedroom. Since your receiver can handle four more speakers. You should get the appropriate matching surround speakers to really get that 3D sound.

  7. inappropriate for a bedroom. You should have a separate room set up for this sort of thing,
