When you mean by hack a program, that you want to find a crack or regkey so you can use the program without paying, I would advise you not to do it. I am not giving you this advise, because it is illegal. That is something you have to decide for your self and it is not up to me.

No, the reason, that I say do not do it. is because when you go to a crack site like www.crack.am. I can tell you, that your computer will get infected It has become toooooooooo dangerous to go th that kind of sites.

Years ago, I cracked a few program, partly for fun and partly because I could use a program for free

Last week, I tried it one more time,  2 hrs later I was formating my pc and reinstalling windows xp. Do not be a fool like I was. I warn lots of people here at Yahoo Answers not to go to crack sites. Now I wished, that I had listened to my self

umm you want to alter the code of the program then you are cracking it not hacking it

It depend's on how you mean by "hack" a program - The word is very mis-leading

Do you mean hacking a program to add another feature?

To hack the software so it's free? (which is illegal)
