  1. woolite, and on the delicate cycle! i washed my shirt that had glitter on it, it still looks new! Do not dry the shirt, let it air dry! Good luck!!!

  2. Soak in tepid water with any mild detergent.

    Rinse.

Soak in fabric softener/conditioner 10 minutes.

Hang on hanger in shower or on line.

  3. I use a small amount of liquid laundry detergent, or liquid dish soap. Follow the label info regarding water temp. Swish the clothing around in the water, then gently squeeze out the soapy water. Rinse several times in a pan or sink full of clean water until no soap comes out. Gently squeeze out water, then lay the garment out carefully on a clean towel. Roll it up in the towel and squeeze out more water. You can repeat this with another dry towel if you need to. After you squeeze out the water, lay the garment out flat on another dry towel or hang it on a plastic hanger over the tub or on a shaded portch to dry. If you have a clotheline, you can hang it there to finish drying unless it's a fine fabric that can't take sunlight.

  4. cold water and use woolite. don't wring the water out gently smooth it out. It willtake longer to dry so if you have a line hang it otside or in a well ventilated area. Make sure you use some downy. To ensure that the clothing doesnt end up smelling like what you hang it around

  5. Somehow it helps me to have a plastic dishpan that is dedicated to hand laundry. It's easier to keep it clean and to regulate water temperature. You can do the hand laundry in the kitchen that way, it's a better height, and  the light is better than the bathroom.
