How do you handle OPK at work?

Question

I work in a busy office with only one women's bathroom on the floor (I think I've been alone in there midday twice in two years). I've been trying to figure out how to get a cup and stick in and out of there during ovulation time. I live and work in NYC (no car to drive somewhere private), and public restrooms in my work 'hood are pretty gross (midtown, lots of tourists).

Anyone have any tips for handling this gracefully? Drag my big bag to the bathroom and pretend I'm running out? Wear very very loose pants to hide everything? Wear a "TTC 16 Months; Give Me A Break" t-shirt? Thank you!

I know this is gross but this is what i have started doing. I work w/ all guys as well I can relate to the girl above.. After lunch I have my OPK and 2 ziplocks in my makeup bag. I take that into the bathroom w/ me so it looks like im just freshing up. Then I pee in the bag.(its smaller than the cup) and then i dip it and put it in the other ziplock.. then I put them back in my make up bag go back to my desk 10 mins later I check it out *as I powder my nose* Its funny b/c i wonder what their thinking while Im staring in my makeup bag w/o digging for something lol.. but anywho GL I understand!

You don't really need a cup. You can pee directly on the stick. That would save the bulkiness of having a cup with you. Just put the stick in your purse or pocket, go into the stall, pee on the stick one-one-thousand to 5-5-thousand, then lay the stick down on top of the tp-holder, if nowhere else. Wait 3 to 5 minutes for the results, wrap the stick in tp and put in the sanitary nap disposal. The hard part will only be waiting the amount of time for the results to show up. Maybe use that time to sort out your purse or meditate, LOL!

I work in an office with all males ( I am literally the only girl!) so I know what you are going through! What I do is bring a jacket or sweater that's a little baggy and keep it in my office. When the time comes to test, I put it on, put the cup and stick in the pockets, and head to the restroom. They keep it chilly in my office anyway so it kinda works perfectly! Nobody has caught on yet :-) Good luck to you! **Lots of Baby Dust headed your way!**

i sit on paper towels

i bring the cup and stick in my pocket book

i wrap toilet paper around the stick  and paper cup and throw it into the sanitary napkin box. no one is stupid enough to unwrap that.

I got around this by taking it as soon as I got home. It's ok as long as it's the afternoon, and you're taking it at the same time every day.

(They worked, I'm 5wk+2 today)
