  1. I don't worry about garter or worm snakes: They help by eating bugs.

    Any other snake that crosses my path gets its head chopped off with a shovel!


  2. As mentioned they are a good thing..but if you must and they frighten you buy some "snake away"..here is a picture of it..most hardware stores handle it.

  3. they are HARMLESS and kill mice, rats and  some bugs and they dont eat your plants..(like rabbits) leave them there .. they dont bite..    if you have to do something , you can trap them and let them go in the hills... the eat gophers too!

  4. As crazy as this sounds, mothballs.  Just scatter them on the ground in the effected area.  We had a terrible problem when we bought our house and an older neighbor told us about the mothballs.  We only ever used them the one time (and left them until they just sort of dissolved) and we've never had another sighting.

  5. its good luck to have them there , they are harmless..dont start chopin them up like other idiots would..
