  1. Carefully place it in a box with no lid and take it to a vet that handles aviary medicine or...call the wild life commission and ask them.  Be sure to keep it away from harm (cats and other preditors) until you find a solution.

  3. You don't. It has a better chance of surviving if you leave it alone. I'm sure.

Are you sure this bird is injured...it is breeding season so lots of baby birds who cannot fly yet are hopping around on the ground.  It is normal for baby birds to leave the nest before they can fly.  Watch the bird from afar to see if any birds are coming to it and feeding it. If it is being fed..let it be.   Only if you are sure this bird is injured..you need to take it to a wildlife rehab..look for one here..the first link has listings worldwide:
