  1. tell the manager what a good employee she is and go home

  2. I've never found myself in this situation.  that is because I always preplan when going out for a meal.  Wait persons are not paid much over the  mandatory wage, this means they are really dependent upon their tips.  It is true that you are not required to tip, a tip is like a gift, it is given for good service.  However; the person who does not tip, is viewed as a cheapskate by both the wait person, and those who are in the vicinity of the table where no tip was left.  Several others have suggested alternative ways of dealing with this issue by use of credit cards, debit card, borrowing from the person you were with and lastly being honest and telling the wait person and then going back the next day with a generous (more than 18%) tip for your waitress/waiter.  I would add, you could pay the bill, explain to the waitress, go to the nearest ATM and withdraw enough mondy to cover the tip and emergency expenses for yourself.  Do not travel without at least some cash

  3. put it on plastic

  4. don't leave a tip. if you notice, a lot of people don't.

  5. how do you have no money?are you a child?

no debit card, credit card, you were by yourself?no Friends to lend a hand?when you ordered were you oblivious to the prices? or did you spend right to your limit on purpose?

    HELP me ,HELP you

because i don't see any excuse here.

       Ancient Chinese proverb

"if you can't afford to tip,You can't afford to eat out!"

  6. there really isn't anything that you can do. just over tip the lady next time you go out to eat at the same place.

  7. If you don't have the money...you don't have it.

  8. don't feel bad, not everyone leaves a tip, in fact why should you. if its because you think the employee is under paid, well they can work somewhere else, if its because the meal was good, well do you get a tip for doing your job good, i know i don't, to me tipping is wrong, if you didn't tip the employee would look for other work or the employer would have to pay more. plus i worked for that money that i would use for tips, i also payed taxes on it, but the person being tipped will get it tax free............ tipping is wrong

  9. give her somthing nice like flowers

  10. Nothing. What can you do? The most you could really do is tell her/him the service was great or thank her/him and leave.

  11. Did you order without checking the price? Because then you would just be a jerk, and I would tell the waiter that...

If you have just enough to cover the actual bill, cover it and then get the waiter's name so you can bring money another time. They only get paid about 2.25 an hour, so tips really do matter...and to the jerk that said they should go looking for another job...well sometimes they're in school or its a second job and they're barely making it by, so stop assuming everyone can get a cushy white collar job.

  12. I would apologize to the server, get his/her name and let them know that I will be back another time with the money and let them know that I really enjoyed their service. Then definately make a point to come back and leave some money in an evelope for them the next day.

  13. Be honest. Sometimes, especially if we use cash, we just count wrong, or think we have two twenties,, and it is a twenty and a ten, or something like this. It happens!

Just tell the server that you are sorry, and get his/her name. Tell the manager on the way out that you are short the tip, and will be bringing it in the next time you are nearby.

If you are traveling, you could still send it later.

We were guilty of not tipping when we were much younger. We would go out with $20 or $30 and use it all on the meal. Now, we have four kids, and realize that most of these people probably have similar bills and responsibilities, too! It is just mean not to tip, if the service is good. It can make or break someone's budget.

It can be hard to tip someone a big amount, it seems like a lot. It makes a $50 meal $60. I know. Ten dollars is a lot to most people, still. It is just the right thing to do, though.
