How do you hang a flat board canvas?

I have a painting on a canvas, but its flat, so i cant really hang it>??

Put it in a frame.

They make hangers that you can glue onto the back. Just make sure to buy the right ones according to the size & weight of the painting. Check your local art supply store or a really good hardwares store.

Here's an idea. Check out the link below. I've used these in the past and they worked well for items like you've described. All you do is wet the back and place in on the back of what you want to hang.
