  1. Go to any music shop and buy one of those guitar hooks that are made for the wall. They are sturdy and I'm pretty sure they will hold the weight of the tire.

  2. My father has a Dale Sr. tire. He has a octagon coffee table that he had built around it. Maybe have a shelf or end table built around it.

  3. It would look pretty cool if you could some how mount it flush against the ceiling around your bedroom light. Just don't put it above your bed in case of a blow out..................

  4. I have a tire and I just keep it on top of a big book case. Actually mounting the tire to the wall would be quite hard I imagine, and you probably would have to s***w through the tire somewhere to secure it properly. I suggest leaving it in the corner, or making some type of mantle to put it on

  5. It's too heavy for sheetrock to hold so make sure you get a stud finder and mount it into the studs but I think it would be better if you get a round piece of glass and make a table out of it. That's what I did.

  6. dude if its a real tires like off the cars i think it would be hard cause its like 80lbs right. just lean it against the wall in a noticeable place i guess

  7. They are pretty big, but you can ask at a hardware store and they will help you. Our son made a table out of his tire, but putting a piece of glass on top. It's very cool.

  8. Funny question. Just go by Walmart and get a plant hook from the hardware or garden section. I would go with one that at least has a 1/4 inch s***w.  Inspect your attic and make sure it is properly reinforced so as to hold the weight. You might also make sure you hang it close to the wall as the wall will help the ceiling not to sag as much. Then s***w it into an overhead stud. If an overhead stud is  not in the proper location for your likeness then simply cut a small 2x4 and nail it in between the rafters (studs) and then s***w it in.

If you want a cleaner look try just to get a shelve bracket and s***w it into a stud on the wall.

  9. I had a Dale Sr. from Martinsville.  I used it as a coffee table in our den for awhile.  Afterwards I gave it to a friend and they have it in their garage hanging and I think it is just by a big nail.  I don't think you would want to put  a big nail in your wall...but don't know how you can hang a tire like that.
