im 17 and im very interested in engineering especially energy wise

i like to make things better like windmills or solar panels

how do u harness the energy of a windmill and better yet wats the best way to make one from home?

  1. The windmill turns an alternator or generator which in turn charges batteries. You are basically recharging those batteries over and over to keep your electric appliances running. The cost for this may be high at first, but you would save money as soon as the equipment is paid for. If its not windy quite often where you live, it may not be worth it.

    Windmills are for milling grains ,and are run by the Miller .

    who does the Milling

    that is why they are called WindMILLS

    but few operate today ,the few that are left are tourist attractions ,Restaurants or even private homes.

    I think you must be talking about Wind generators who generate electricity by turning alternators ,like a dynamo
