How do you have a 3-way conversation on a phone ??

Do you need a special phone or does it work on every phone ??

Call a number, or have them call you.  When your talking press Flash *or talk, or w/e*, this will put you on line number 2.   Dial Friend Number 2, then press Flash again.  You should now be line 1 talking to Friend 1, and then Friend 2 should be ringing, where both you and Friend 1 can hear it, and when they pick up, it'll be a 3 way.

Three-Way Calls is a feature that you get from your phone provider!!!

The three-way calling feature allows you to add a third party, either on or off campus to your telephone conversation.

1. Press the switch hook or flash button to put the first caller on a "soft" hold.

2. Call the third party.

3. Press the switch hook or flash button again to join all parties together.

To drop a third call: Press the switch hook or flash button, then continue the original call.

To drop yourself out of a three-way call: Hang up; the remaining parties may continue to talk.

DANGER: If one of the calls on the three-way call is someone you called long distance, the charges for the long-distance call will continue to be billed to your telephone as long as they are on the call, even if you hang up!

While on a call put the party on hold briefly by pressing the Link or Flash button. Listen for three short beeps followed by regular dial tone. Press *71.

Dial the number of the second party you wish to call. When the person answers, press the Link or Flash button to connect

all three parties immediately.

If the number of the second party is busy or does not answer,

press the Link or Flash button twice to return to the original call.
