How do you have agressive vocals while singing and playing guitar?

its hard to sing loud and agressive while in a band in front of an audience. i can only do it when im alone. i really dont know what to do. im too nervous and have alot of anxiety, and paranoid how i might sound, ive tried it and its just too hard. someone please help me out. thanks
