I have the breastflow bottles and the avent tempo liners. Perfect together except i can't figure out how to get bottles ready without having to use another container to warm the milk. Any suggestions?

  1. a big ole cup of hot water should do it. I didn't read the other suggestions.

  2. a big cup/glas/bowl with warm water and place the bottle w/ liner in it...

or else with the same bottle warmer you'd use with regular bottles.

you dont use the microwave i hope!  but if you dont have a bottle warmer then the milk in a large container of warm water is the best way.

you could run warm water on the prepared water - but depending on the temp that wastes a bit of water...

  3. I would suggest running warm water over the outside of the bag or letting it sit in warm water.  That was how my husband always defrosted and warmed my stored breast milk baggies.  It's the easiest way to make sure you don't overheat it, too, imo.

  4. I use the Playtex bottles with the Playtex liners. I always sit the bottle in a mug and run hot water down the sides of the bottle. It usually takes about 2-3 minutes this way. If I just let it sit in hot water it takes about 4-5 minutes.

  5. I get a bowl of hot water and let it sit in there for a while. It heats up pretty quick so keep an eye on it.

Make sure to shake the bag every now and then and test it before you give it to your infant.

    Hope that helped!

  6. DON'T WARM THE BABY BOTTLE AT ALL!!!

It has no health benefit. Babies do great with room-temperature bottles. Make your life easier and just don't warm them at all. Think how much easier it will be to get out of the house!

    Good luck!
