  1. Working for a child care centre for the last 14 years in the 0-2's room. Docs requires us to heat using a bottle warmer placed behind a barrier so it can never be tipped over a child. Never use a microwave due to hot spots in milk even if they are convenient. A tall jug of really warm water is great but keep it in the sink when warming the bottle to again avoid spillages and burns.

  2. run hot water into a bowl in the sink. spin bottle around in it.

  3. 1. Put a microwavable cup or bowl(large enough to place a bottle in) with water in it in the microwave.

    2. Heat up the water but not too hot.

    3. Carefully take out the cup/bowl and put the bottle in.

4 Let it sit until the milk is warm.

    5. Squirt a dab on your inner arm to make sure he milk is not too hot for baby.

  4. I have a bottle warmer... I am assuming you do not or else you would not be asking. You can run some hot water in a bowl and allow the bottle to lay in there for a few minutes. You want the bottle to be luke warm you can test it on the back of your wrist to get the most accurate temperature. If you let the bottle warm while you are changing your baby's diaper it should be long enough to warm it. Just remember NEVER NEVER put the milk in the microwave and beast milk can safely be stored at room temperature for up to 8 hours. Good luck!

  5. Warm water in a container - put the bottle in and change the water if you need to. Having the water too hot can affect the antibodies in the breastmilk.

  6. i would say spend the money on a bottle warmer they are awsome and it even works for jar foods

  7. I'm not a mom yet..but I've registered for a bottle warmer so I don't have to mess with the stove.  : )

  8. I have a small  microwave safe dish

I boil the kettle and put the bottle in the dish and  put the boiling water in to the dish

just keep checking it so it dont overheat

  9. I had a bottle warmer for a while, and that was a God send until it stopped working(later it got recalled...) After that i just gave up and put it in a warm or hot... (depending on how fast you can change a diaper) bowl of water. By the time i got back from changing her diaper it would be the perfect temp. Good luck!

  10. I used to just put hot water in a coffee mug and put the bottle in it to warm up.

  11. I breastfeed as well, but if I had to warm a bottle, I'd just run it under some hot water..

If you just pumped it, you don't need to warm in up. In the beginning I had to pump and feed my son additional breastmilk through an SNS and I never warmed my milk.
