How do you help a friend who is severely addicted to crack cocaine?

My friend is addicted to crack and has been fooling all and lieing about everything to get the stuff. It's really sad.

that sucks.  you kinda can't.  you can try to be a friend to him as much as possible unless it starts hurting you (ie, he's stealing from you, he pressures you to do drugs, etc)

just hope that he hits rock bottom soon without killing himself and then be there for him when he starts cleaning up his act.
