How do you help a horse to move more off their back end?

my horse will not move off her back and shes really jiggly and i ride her about eaveryday. and i dont no how to help her?

  1. How old is she and what stage is she in training?

    First you want to make your saddle, bridle and bit fit her properly. I would probably start out with a smooth snaffle bit. Work with your legs, sit deep in the saddle and squeeze. This will make her move more under herself. While you are doing this, use your hands to get her soft and relax at the poll and this will create her to accept the bit and a head set. Once she gives, release, do this over and over again, but work slow. Eventually, she will get better & better. Start doing this execrise at a walk, trot and then canter and vary with small circles, figure 8s and teardrops. Be forgiving and reward.

    There are several books you can read and several DVDs/VHS out there. I'd suggest any by George Morris or Lynn Palm.
