  1. As a teenager wanting to help a cause in a faraway place, there three things that you can do:

    1) Hold fundraisers and send the money to a legitimate NGO working to combat AIDS in Africa

    2) Promote awareness of the problem by giving speeches, making flyers, writing articles, creating a website or otherwise getting the word out to encourage others to donate

    3) Volunteer virtually for an organization that is working on the issue via Idealist.com or VolunteerMatch

  2. send leaflets to them , about s*x, needles.etc.. aids is something that can be prevented, alot of it is caused by pure stupidity..

  3. NetAid is a web site specifically for people under 18 who want to know what they can do, wherever they are, to address poverty in the developing world:

The UN Cyber Schoolbus will also be very helpful to you:

Also, start educating yourself about HIV/AIDS prevention programs in your own area; this will help you understand a bit about the situation in Africa.

  4. One idea might be to work with your local Red Cross; there are several youth programs that might interest you. There may or may not be HIV/AIDs programs in Youth Services right now, but getting volunteer experience will help you prepare to work on that issue later on.
