  1. Just be there for them. Generally there's nothing you can say to make it better, but listening helps a lot. You might not feel like you're doing much if you just sit there not saying anything, but it can actually be a great help.


  2. The most important thing is to be there for them. Let them know that you will always be someone they can confide in and will be willing to listen if ever and when ever they want to talk. If they aren't opening up to you at first that is normal, so I wouldn't worry, and chances are they will later. Good luck.

    And, I guess the best way is just to let them know that you are there for them...it's hard finding the right words...sometimes a hug, even if it's an e-hug, can do wonders...

  4. be there when they need you. and allow them to have their space when needed. be patient and understanding.
