How do you highlight areas on a word document?

I am making a phone list for my office that every other area line I want highlighted- can you help me? duh! thanks!

  1. You would have to manually do this with the highlight tool. If it is in a table then you can do alternating fills depending on your version of Word (07 has it in a preset).
