How do you hook up a Palermo VA6.1 Home Theater System?

I know that the Palermo surround sound speakers are a scam, but a family member of mine bought it anyway. He doesn't know how to set it up and I took a look and don't know how to set it up. We need help. I've been looking on the internet and think I might need a "long wire" or something like that but we don't have it. If we do need it to hook up the system, can you also tell me where we can get it? Thanks.
