  1. Are you asking about a dry-type transformer?

    Based on your question, I suspect this task is beyond the scope of your experience.  480 V can be very lethal.  I recommend you consult a qualified electrician to wire up the equipment for you.

There is no such thing as a "dry cell transformer."  Dry cells produce direct current; transformers produce alternating current.  If you want alternating current out, you specify the output voltage, or the ratio of the output voltage to the input voltage; this defines the turns ratio.  If you need direct current, you then run the transformer output into a suitable rectifier stack to get it.  Without further details on the application, no more can be said.
