How do you hook up a pc to your TV?

i have a bunch of movies, shows, and kids shows for my son on my computer but i don't know how to get it onto my TV. my TV is a sanyo HDTV it has HD hook ups, a S-Video slot, and an hdmi port.

Most HDTVs have a VGA input, this should connect directly to your PC's video card. However, there's a chance that either your video card has only a DVI output, and/or your TV does not have a VGA input. In either of these cases, you'll probably need a DVI --> HDMI adapter.

There's probably tons of other places you can get them including your local electronics store

(Also video cards commonly have a S-Video out that you said your TV has an input for, but using this will cause a significant decrease in quality)
