  1. It will probably show up under fixed income section

    It will not have a ticker symbol, only a CUSIP #

    They are typically denominated in $25,000 increments (one share is 25k so you have to own a multiple of 25K, 100k 150k 250k, as there are no fractional shares)

    In the activity section it will pay a weekly or monthly dividend or interest payment that frequently changes from period to period.

    If you think you have one you should just call your broker and ask.  They should know and must tell you the truth.  If you get the sense your broker is not being honest with you call back and talk to branch manager or call the 800 number for the company headquarters.  These other individuals have very little incentive to lie even if you broker does.
