How do you ignore someone after you have added them to yahoo messenger?

i was talking with someone in the past but that person is causing problems saying bad stuff...ect i dont want this person to be able to im me

Right-click on thier name and delete them.  They have to be reinvited or you have to accept thier invitation.

Go to 'Messenger' [near Contacts], scroll down to 'Preferences'

Click the 'Ignore list' tab and type the person's name into the box and save.
