How do you import p2 video to iMovie via 1394 firewire (from HVX200)?

A $5,000 camcorder and bundled software? Can't you at least use FinalCut Express?

(For what it is worth, you would have the same issues with Windows MovieMaker. Sony Vegas Platinum would be recommended in that environment.)

Perhaps you can downconvert in the camera before importing to iMovie...
