I purchased the Sony DCR-DVD108 Handycam and filmed many videos on the Sony DVD-RW. I installed the software to import media files to my computer without the internet because I was waiting for a router. So of course I can't register. Once I installed the software 4 icons were on my desktop and I clicked on the Picture Motion Browser to see if I can import the videos without the internet. Well I am very confused because of all these options and once I got the internet back I registered and I still don't know how to import media files to my computer. Could someone who has it please explain to me how to import media files like I have to connect my camera with the USB and do something or put the disc in the DVD drive or I have to finalize the disc before importing. Please someone explain, I would greatly appreciate it!

  1. If you have a mini dvd camcorder….

For a reg mini DVD you will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer 's DVD burner (top loading only) , for a rewritable I think you just have to convert  the files (i downloaded handbrake file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. So you would open handbrake and it's pretty self explanatory, after you convert then you can import them into your editing program.
