  1. Get an instructor.

  2. you could probably get it if you entered in volleyball spike tips on a search engine.

    Good Luck!

  3. There are a number of steps here.

1 Make sure that when you are hitting you are not rotating the arm across the body.

2 Practice, hitting the ball, when you are stationary.  The image I have is to get the same movements as a tennis player when they serve the ball.

3 Practice, hitting with someone throwing the ball to you.

4 Then practice hitting with the jump.

5 Practice hitting and angling your hand slightly so that you can alter the angle of the hit - do not change the angle of rotation of the arm.

Finally, when you are not playing visualize, hitting the ball - think about the movements and putting it all together.

Keep up the practice, and practice high balls, short balls, shorts, and serves.

  4. depends if you want to learn how o aim then get a tennis ball and practice aiming with that if you want to work on strength there r 2 ways on is easy do push-ups and bicep curls or you can go to a brick wall squat down and jump up and spike the wall as hard as you can 1st day do about 15 of  these then with every day of doing this gradually increase the number.

  5. you really just have to go after the ball with determination. also work on swinging your arm through when you go up to hit. swinging my arm and really attacking the ball has helped me improve a lot.

  6. i went to a volleyball camp this summer and they made us jump up into your approach for your hit, and throw down a tennis ball at the floor to make sure you pop your wrist, it helped so much!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

  7. The most important things to remember are:

    1) JUMP!

    2) Timing

    3) Hitting the ball with the bottom part of your palm.

    4) Raise your hand while you are jumping up and remember to bring it down so the ball will go down someone's throat and not go soaring out of bounds.

Watch some games and stuff...you can probably find an adult in an adult league to help you for free...or just ask your coach!

  8. try watching professional volleyball games you'll see those incredible smashing i watched it all thee time and applied it after.it really worked on me.but you need more practice to be able to play great.i've been practicing a lot.good luck.

  9. Practice makes perfect! A high, strong, jump will always help. Flick your wrist and keep your arm as straight as you can. It's also good practice to hit down balls against a wall. This was very helpful for my entire team! Good luck!

  10. If you know how to spike already pretty good. Jumping higher will improve it alot. Do some Plyometrics + Squats and RDLs

Look it up on the internet.

If you still struggle with your spikes, practice against the wall. Toss the ball up, reach high, and snap your wrist. Spike the ball to the wall (spike it to the ground first though) without a full swing, try to hit it hard with just your hand. *Snap your wrist

  11. you need to start by spinking with out jumping, when you get better and better you start jumping

  12. jump about 30 times and then have someone throw the ball up and then practice hitting it like that 4 about a month

  13. U can start by hitting the ball against a wall to get your shoulder, arm, wrist, hand motions correct. The you have to get your approach, timing of the jump, swing together. This can be done by having someone tossing the ball(like a set)to the net and of course practice,practice,practice......
