  1. Unscrew the shower head, and look in the end you should see a little piece that's the size of a dime with a little hole in the center. Pop that out, thats a water saver all heads come with, apply some pipe dope or teflon tape and s***w the shower head back on. If you still have low pressure then have a plumber replace the water lines and the valves to the tub& shower valve

  2. Clean the head using a lime remover  make sure your water main to your house is fully opened...  If you have galvanized steel pipes, they could be a contributing factor for your low water pressure .

  3. if u live in a rental then u have a water saver shower head which has a black rubber washer in it to supress water flow.

what u can do about it depends on your talent with tools.

  4. You can either take it off and clean it with something such as CLR, (calcium, lime rust remover) or replace it.

  5. soak the shower head in some lime-a-way

  6. Most shower heads today are required to have a flow restrictor installed to conserve water.  If saving water or money and living green is not as important to you as the personal enjoyment of a good shower, then remove the restrictor.  It is usually inserted into fitting where the shower head is fitted to the "goose neck' protruding out of the wall.  It is usually a piece of plastic with a few small holes in it.
