I use Adobe Photoshop to edit images - how do I increase the resolution of an image using this software?

  1. to increase quality, there are limits, you would adjust resolution, from 72 dpi to 144/ 300 dpi and so on, and also use option of resample and constrain,

    this would let you keep image at 4x6" for example, but pixels would increase,

    but note that a low quality image at 72 dpi can not be improved or made clearer, only more defined like adding alias, but not as fine as vector images,

  2. Its very simple, you can go inside the image menu and then click on image menu and then image size option. there you'll find resolution option. Just change there and click ok button but keep this thing in mind image will not become in higher quality.
