The pressure in one shower is fine, but the other one is really low and slow, they both have the same shower head, it also comes out of the bathtub faucet slowly. Please any info would be great

  1. take the head off and flush it, clean it.....u can test the amount of flow to both heads to compair by:  remove both heads, hold up a 5 gals bucket, turn the shower on the fast flowing one and let it fill the bucket and time it......then go to the one that is slower and do the same ......this will let u know if its the shower head or u have a pipe problem......if both time out the same and the heads r good then i would check the valves....there is a set that u can change to allow more presure in the valve, but  u better be good with plumbing to do this......u have to remove the guts and reinstall....

  2. take the shower head down and unscrew the end that attaches to the pipe. inside you'll see a rubber circle. take that out and put it back together. We did this in college and the pressure was amazing afterward.

  3. one you can turn it up or you can adjust the shower head

  4. Hi BUSY

It sounds like you have a restriction, eather in the line or more than likely in the faucet itself. Open the cold side and hot side one at a time, the one that less flow is the one that needs to taken down and cleaned. Lots of times its the hardness in the water that builds up and forms a calcium buildup and that needs cleaning out over time.

Hope ive been of some help
