How do you insert a tampon? serious answers please!?

ive tried so many times and i just cant get it in right. i cant even slightly get it in. ive stood and put one foot on the toilet seat..is it easier to sit? ive had my period for a little more than 3 years and i still cant use one!

Sit on the loo, with your legs wide apart, find teh smallest tampon yhuu can find and i prefere the applicator ones, they are easier, point the applicator in your vag**a push it up then push the smaller end of the applicator into the larger. It says on the box more detailed instructions,s o good luck hunni, you should be fine!

hiiyaa wat u could do is get a tampon wat should fit wat tampon you think would fit you and stand with your legs apart and just try and if that doesnt work then go and tell your doctor or something or family and they will be sure to help!!

if it's plastic, it should be really easy. but i dont put my leg up on the toliet seat, i just stand with my legs apart. and try to wiggle it a little bit, that should help.

well, i would suggest using a small tampon (if you don't want to use an applicator) and put a bit of vaseline on it to lubricate it to help it go up easier, if you do want to use a tampon with an applicator also put a bit of Vaseline on the end of it, the instructions on the tampon box will explain how to use an applicator in more depth but it is much the same as using one without.

firstly u need to relax. from personal experience i squat. squatting is so much easier then any other position. it should slide straight in but you do need to be relaxed for it to go in with any position u do

Try moving the tampon from side to side as you insert it. Relax! If you are tense then it won't go in. Use plastic applicators, I find them better as they glide in easier.

I was scared of using tampons for years, but one day i got caught with no other option. And I find it's easiest for me to just lift up my butt a little off the toilet like im squating and insert it that way. You defiantly have to be relaxed. And I use Tampax Pearl Plastic. They have a little griping area at the bottom of the tampon easier for holding it. And two, plasic glides easier. Just relax, try squating over the toilet, to be kinda tmi, that opens everything up, and just slide the tampon in, dont force it and once your fingers holding the tampon touch your lips, push in the tampon. It will get easier!
