How do you insert video clips to windows movie maker?

Click on the Import Media button at the top. Then search for the file, and click upload or open.

If the clips are someplace on your PC open Movie Maker---click file in top left corner---click import into collections--a dialog box will pop up--locate the files or files you want to import--click in it and then click on import.

You will find the files under collections--then you just follow the on screen instructions--.
