How do you install a vinyl fence post?

The instructions say I should put in a wood post in first after I dig the hole. Then put the hollow vinyl cover over it. How should I go about doing this?

dig a hole 18-24".Put your post in and fill with concrete,add water mix a little.level,plumb and brace your(treated)post.Once its set up(concrete)remove your brace, slide your vinyl post over,,,,,,,,,,,, done.

   you don't need an extra person for this un less you an a buddy wanna do it together...another words don't pay some one to help

Having a second person to hold the wood post while you slide the vinyl on over it would be optimal.  Then fill in the hole with dirt.

Dig your hole to the desired depth, place the vinyl cover over the post and set it in the hole. Check your plumb with a level on both adjoining sides an make sure it is not to tall or too short. Fill the hole and check your plumb again, then tamp the dirt around the hole (unless you fill it with concrete) be sure to check plumb any time you do something with the post.
