How do you install an amp in a 2000 ford F-150?

I need step by step instructions. I know how to install the wiring, but i need to know which panels to take out to run the wiring through, and the best way to get it from the battery terminal through the firewall. and do i need to take out the dash to get to the back of my stereo?

    but as far as the wiring for amps its all pretty much basic

    the only the thing that varies is where the power wire will enter the vehicle from just look up car audio basics and read up on the matter

    also radio shack has a few books on the subject that can be very helpful

    oh yeah and also your local library


  2. you shouldnt need to take out the whole dash usually radio decks come with a pull kit to pull the radio out.......as for the wires getting through the firewall......i usually just tape the wires to a straightened out metal clothes hanger.......then from under the hood push the hanger with wires taped on through the firewall......should be an opening around the steering wheel shaft under driver side...........as for panels im not sure what your truck looks like but i usually snap off the plastic on the door jamb and run wires through there under the carpet then run towards your amp.....good luck...
