How do you install an ashtray style bridge cover on a fender stratocaster?

Is there any routing involved? Will it fit a 2008 standard mexican made strat? How would you remove it?

OK..!!! The bridge cover is standard on Stratocaster. What you are referring to is the bridge cover. Correct ?

It will cover the mechanism (bridge saddle etc...)

There is nothing to install. The cover sells separately and just clips in place. It may look like a one-piece bridge but in reality, NO.

Just order it and clip is right on and it will stay in place. You need a certain amount of pressure to remove it but it can be done without any tools but your fingernails.
