How do you install nortob anti virus on a computer when you can't get online?

Question

My daughter downloaded something on her computer and while downloading she lost internet connection. Then we ran norton anti virus and it said she had something on her computer, but could not remove it because we needed to upgrade. i bought the norton anti virus disk today, put it into her computer and since we can't get online with her computer we can't install it. What do we do???

Go to restore,  back date your computer to a time befor this infection.   If this does not work then restart in safe mode,  copy all your data, photo, and important documents to disk.  then do a full reinstall from scratch.  Hopes this helps.

You have to have the cd.

Maybe you can restore the pc to an earlier time??
