Question:

How do you install screens onto a window?

I live in a studio with only two windows (one of which doesn't open) and neither have screens on them. I love to have windows open to let fresh air in because I hate being trapped inside with A/C blasting on me but I can't because my pets would escape and I'd have bugs flying in, ect.. So I'd like to go to Home Depot or Lowes to get something. My mom used to have something that was like a screen but had accordian sides so it fit in any window. What could I get that requires VERY little installation, tools, ect but makes it so I can finally have my windows open?

  1. I think a good idea would be to measure the window before you go looking for a screen

  2. i know most hardware stores have ready made screens that you can buy. Just open the window and pop them in and close the window on top of the screen. They come in small or large size. You should have no problem. Costs about 6-10 bucks depending where you buy them at. I have them in all my windows.
