How do you jack up a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer?

The manual says that the cup on the jack should cradle the rear axle but there is a stabilizer bar on this vehicle that runs the entire length of the axle. The stabilizer bar is in the way.

no you must have misunderstood it, it means that the jack goes under the pumpkin of the axle, where the differential fluid goes.  stabilizer bars what are you talking about?

Slide a floor jack under the center of the differential housing an raise it up. For safety purposes always open up a set of jack-stands at each end of the axle housing.
