First, you need to connect the batteries with a jumper cable then start your car that easy. Don't mess it up by putting the cable in opposite poles!!!

If it has a clutch, put it in 1st, 2nd, or reverse gear, turn the key on and have someone push you or roll down a hill.

Make sure both cars are off and then connect the positive(red, +) to the live battery then other end to dead battery positive terminal. Then connect the negative(black) on the good battery to its negative terminal then the other end to a part of metal on the engine block that doesent move on the car being boosted. Start the car that is boosting the other then try and start yours, if it works unplug the cables in the reverse order of this.

get a set of good cables and be sure the car being used for the jump is off when connecting the cables to the dead car !!  once connected    +red to red and - black to black.  start the good car and then the other . once started, take the positive cable (+) off the good car and then the negative. dont touch them together . now take the cables off the other car.. done !
