you can get extra large gates made for pets.  just look on some pet supply sites.

Well we have a net kind of thing for our Yorkie. Works well. But he is a little dog. Really easy to keep him restrained! Go to your local petstore. Then have many different possibilites!

Put up baby gates.  You shouldn't restrict your dog from the area of the house that you will be in the most.  Dogs need to be with their owners.  If they get bored they will find something else to keep them occupied and you probably won't like it.

Buy some child gates and put in doorways.
