you could always just stick it in the middle of a heavy book. it should retain its color, but be very careful when taking it out, as it may crumble.

put drops of water on it everyday and put it in the fridge, it works great :)

It depends. If you dry it, it will fade but will remain green. If you preserve it in liquid, the chlorophyll will dissolve in the alcohol but you can replace it with a dye.
