How do you keep bar brushes from smelling when you're washing glassware at a bar?

i work at a bar and do glassware with a 5 brush system & as many times as we change the water & add solution it tends to smell. does anyone have any great ideas on how to solve this problem. thanks

Flush your brushes with a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water) at the end of every day and after 10 minutes, flush with hot water.  Let brushes air dry overnight.
