How do you keep black clothes from fading in dyer?

sometimes turning them wrongside out helps.

They fade in the washer, especially cotton or rayon fabric.  Try adding a little salt to the water to help hold the dye onto the fabric and use cold water.  The dye these use on these fabrics are more attracted to the water than they are to the fabric so the salt helps.  A tablespoon should be plenty.
