  1. Actually snow man is on the right path. But the air you will need to exhaust is the air in the attic.

The laws of thermodynamics dictate that heat wil always travel to what can absorb it until whatever is absorbing the heat can no longer hold the heat.

The old style castles that had running water through it for instance or the homes with little pump driven water falls actually stand cooler than those with out. I understand this might be a little far fetched this day and age. But you can look into other heat absorbing materials for your home.  Concrete absorbs more heat than wood but holds it longer as well. The new gypsum's coming out on the market are so much better in their thermogenic properties. You should invest some time looking into this.

Or you can do what I did. I got an A/C

  2. Use some window fans; turn 'em around so they blow the hot air out..

  3. Buy an A/C.

  4. lot's of cold showers

  5. snowman u r kidding right?  PMSL

  6. I think visiting this website:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Cool-Yourself-Wit...

will help you a lot. It gives several good suggestions on how to keep yourself cool and tips to beat the heat.

Just a few suggestions the site has are:

*Stay on lower levels of the house (warm air is less dense than cold air, so it rises to the upper levels of the house)

    *Drink lots of water

*Turn off electrical sources of heat. (stoves, computers, light bulbs) Electronics give off heat and can warm up your house.

    * Turn on a overhead or box fan to keep the air circulating.

    Good luck!

  7. Keep out as much sun light as possible and if you have a lower level try staying there during the day. try not to cook or use the stove till after 5 and take extra showers.

  8. Fill your bath with cold water and sit in it.
