  1. You get two main sorts of diving suits;

    Wet; lets in water but keeps it close to your body so that you warm it up.  Good for warmer waters.

    Dry: keeps water away from your altogether - hence Dry.  More suitable for cooler waters.

  2. To keep dry 'on' a wet suit, you should keep many towels or blankets between you and it, lol!

  3. You are supposed to be wet inside a wetsuit.  It is intended to keep a thin layer of water trapped between your body and the suit.  The suit is a good insulator, so the layer of water warms up to body temperature.

    If you want to stay dry, buy a dry-suit, which has watertight seals at the wrists, ankles and neck.  Dry-suits are more expensive because they have to be specially fitted for the individual, so as not to cut off blood circulation or interfere with breathing.

  4. the whole point of a wet suit is  that they don't keep you dry they work by trapping water between you and your body that stays warm (especially if urinate wich is actually how most professional divers stay warm). if you want to stay dry you need a drysuit!

  5. sit out in the sun for a long time.

  6. Try a dry suit.

  7. You don't...Here's how a wetsuit works Basically, a wetsuit keeps you warm by keeping you insulated. The skin-tight fit of a wetsuit traps a thin layer of water between you and the suit which is heated by your body to keep you warm. The wetsuit acts as a thermal barrier to retain the heat on the inside, and repel the cold from the outside.

    The firmer the fit, the less water you get inside your wetsuit, and the less flushing you experience during use. The more of your body you have covered the warmer you will be. The thicker the wetsuit, the more heat retention in the neoprene.

  8. Haha! you are a silly numbnut.

  9. What about shampoo for dry hair? Really, it takes a lot of experience to survive in this world. It's full of traps.

  10. a wet suit is not meant to keep you dry it keeps you warm what it does is keeps a thin layer of water on you the same layer and your body heat heats that warmer than the out side water.

    if you think this is the best awnser please rate it thankyou

  11. by forgetting what dry means

  12. I have surfed for many years. They don't. Their design is to keep your body heat in, not the water out. on the other hand, a dry suit will keep you mostly dry.

  13. Wet suits take in a certain amount of water for your body to warm to help you stay warm while diving in deep water where it is cold. We also use them in the winter to water ski. At first it is cold but when the water gets warm inside of the suit, it keeps us warm.

  14. You don't, that isn't their porpoise. If you want to stay dry, get a dry suit.
