  1. Sawdusts.....the oldest way to keep ice from melting.


  2. put the ice in a cheese cloth, or any cloth, then pour rock salt to cover the cloth. this really works.

  3. There's no other way. You have these special boxes or bags that keep the cold temperature longer but it is only for transportation from the supermarket to your house. They melt inside if you take too long in putting the ice cream back into a fridge.

  4. cover it with the hush of rice or put in the ice box with the hush or cover with a lot of cloths... good luck

  5. Dry ice.  The life of it is 24hrs.

  7. Put it in a plastic bag, smash it up and put in a thermos flask. Failing that, wrap with loads and loads of newspaper. It should keep for a couple of hours.

  8. It would keep for quite awhile in a cooler.
