How do you keep something out of your mind?

how do you keep something out of your mind, something that is always there, something that always hurts, everyday, all day... something that makes you cry... with it being happy is so difficult, being sad is the standard... i hide from it, but everything reminds me, i face it, but it drives me into depression, defeats me instantly... what would a psychologist say? how can i stop thinking about it?... "control it before it controls me" how do i do that : (

  1. There are many situations in our lives which we wish never would have taken place. These actions may be voluntary or involuntary, Whether it be due to voluntary or involuntary actions. If it is something that you regret doing. I suggest that you face the reality and tell yourself just because you did this once does not mean that you will repeat what you have done. What has happened can not be changed. You have no choice but to move on. It is painful to face what happened but you need to accept whatever happened and that is the only way you can face it and fight it.  


  2. u cant hide from it barry, u have to get it out and deal with it the best u know how.  Depression is just anger turned inward.  Focus on the good in your life and u will quickly change your thinking.  Know that u are not alone in dealing with depression.
