How do you keep the plastic k***s on your small engine controls?

I have a plastic k**b that keeps slipping off of the threaded rod that controls the reversing of my tiller. I tried threading the k**b back on and it stays, but as I pull on it, it comes off despite the threads. I need some kinda glue or something.

I don't think that you will find a glue that will fix this.  One option might be to drill through the k**b and the rod and putting a small bolt through it.  Or buy a new k**b.

very easy fix for this problem.  go to your hardware or car parts store and get some blue or red locktite and put a couple drops on the threads s***w the k***s on and your done.

Super Glue or Silicone. You can get both at a automotive store.Hope this helps.
